AppBrowzer is an ambitious new platform from Roid Technologies, Bangalore. The objective of AppBrowzer is to provide a native platform on smartphones, that can browse smartphone apps from the cloud; hence negating the need to use up space and resources by installing the app. This concept was visually communicated via the social media touchpoints of AppBrowzer.
The Brief
TARGET AUDIENCE: People using low end and mid-range smartphones who often run out of memory space to install new apps or have system configuration issues to run bloatware.
OBJECTIVE: To communicate the concept of App 2.0 or browsable apps via social media, Online PR and Twitter contests to drive up the initial user base.
The Work
Relentless content marketing was done on both Facebook and Twitter revolving around multiple content types (Facebook Albums, Images, Canvases, Twitter Moments, etc. Twitter and Facebook contests by the name of #BlogIQ were also done to boost the organic reach, engagement and edge rank. Furthermore, influencers on Twitter and Tech Bloggers were targeted and reached out for online PR and organic reach.
